Hey, just wanted to share, this DAIL mod is working incredibly well. (DAILXXXX)(B) = Medium Grimmest - this is essentially boss script upgrades and x2 heroes with regular other spawns this is my personal favourite mode (DAILXXXX)(S) = S class mode - prepare for your GPU and CPU to melt. I was reading a guide for this mod here () and it seems to give bigger challenge (see options below):

You're right, they seem to be designed to be played that wayīy the way, I was messing around with MODs here (never used before) and heard about DAIL, has anybody played with it? (it looks like it's no longer supported after the expansion, but I just own the vanilla game so that's not a problem yet) Then when you're on a harder mode, take your time to carefully get the side quests you missed prior, and go into your regular farming mode. Head straigth to the goals, and don't worry about side quests. A solution to keep RPG's properly challenging is avoid all excess farming. One thing I've found over the years is that RPG's are designed to get easier the more time you put into them. Actually I haven't got too far in the game, because of my playstyle, I usually achieve 100% (quests, monsters etc) on every map and that takes time, so I get good equipment and levels early on game, and it becomes too easy, that's why I'd like to scale the difficulty up a little bit

Have you faced Darius Cronley yet? How was Krieg? To be honest the Normal / Veteran run tends to be the most challenging since you'll normally be limited by gear until you farm enough for your build.

You'll need to spawn some gear as well since your Resistances take a 50% hit on Ultimate and the first swarm of bugs will totally obliterate you if you don't gear up appropriately.Īlso you're only like 10 hours in (or so your profile says). You'd probably need to put yourself up around level 60 to start Ultimate. Grim Defiler might be able to let you tweak your character that much. And there are some quests that are only available in Ultimate.Īs to your main point there are some 3rd party apps you can download. Bounties become much more of a factor in Elite to maximize faction reputation (but they get repetitive too).
